Aokigahara Forest and Ice Cave
Aokigahara is a forest in the northwestern side of mount Fuji. There is also an ice cave nearby, called Narusawa Hyoketsu. Unfortunately, the quality of these photos is not so good. I took them with a basic cellphone I borrowed from a friend for a few days.

Have you heard of the Japanese monkeys that swim in hot spring water? This is it. They are not monkeys though. They are macaques.

Angélique is from France. She and I were planning to cross the atlantic as crewmembers of a sailboat in January 2018. Unfortunately, the plans to sail together fell through, which you can read about in I Disembarked Prematurely. But despite the change of plans, Angélique did cross the atlantic on a different boat and has been travelling in South America since.
